The 7 Days in Sydney campaign for Tourism NSW has won another award! The Interactive Media Awards judges entries on design, content, feature functionality, usability, standards compliance and cross browser compatibility. Out of 113 entries in the Travel/Tourism category, 7 days in Sydney was 1 of 4 awarded Outstanding Achievement for the Facebook landing tab that consolidated the campaign content.
The judges panel used a customized judging system to evaluate this entry. This was due to unique elements in the entry that warranted specialized attention. In particular, the entry is built on a third party platform (Facebook) and therefore certain judging criteria (such as standards and functionality) are not applicable. The entry has been evaluated on its own merits.
The award follows Silver in both the social networking and travel/tourism categories for the W3 Awards.
